My new summer sandal

Loved these but....

I really loved the look, the color and feel of these sandals. However, I couldn't keep them on - the were too deep for my feet and tended to slide off. I did size up 1/2 size which was the right length but the top of the sandal was not snug enough to stay on, so sadly I had to return them.

Beautiful and comfortable

I've been wanting to try Stegmann's for a long while and I finally ordered a pair. I love them. They're beautiful sandals and they fit me perfectly. I love being able to kick off my sandals at any time during the summer so I often wear well-made, supportive flip flops. This slide will be a more stylish alternative and it is equally supportive. My feet are wide but the leather is soft and the fit is just right for me.

Comfy Unless You Walk Too Far

These are beautiful shoes, but note that they are not adjustable. I am sporting red scars along the upper inside edge of my feet after wearing them on a walk around Savannah a month ago. I wore them quite comfortably during a day of school before my misadventure, so I felt that they must be broken in. I will likely chose a shoe that is adjustable for traverses that keep me on my feet for long distances in the future. I will save my Romy slides for casual evening outings or places where I sit as much as stand.

Love the leather, love the look, but...

I ordered the Romy sandals in size 41 (10 US) because there was no option for a 40.5 (9.5) and 40 (9) would have been too short. Bummer. I love the look and the softness of the leather, and the Olive color is subtle and really pretty. But out of the box, the straps were a little loose on my feet. With no way to adjust them, and no half-size smaller option, I had to return them.

A great sandal for me!

I bought this sandal in Olive size 40 and it works well for my quite long toes, high instep and B width with a narrow heel. I normally wear 8 1/2B in regular shoes and 9 in my sports shoes. The leather is soft and pliable and the insole soft and durable. This was a great find. Lots of good sandal options at Stegman. I also own a pair of the wool clogs.

I didn't expect to love these so much

I was a bit apprehensive about the straps on this sandal because they can't be adjusted. Most non-adjustable slides in my past have ended up stretching out and failing to stay on my feet within a few wears. Fortunately that has not been my experience with this adorable sandal! These are sooooo comfortable. The support is so much better and softer than Birkenstock and the straps feel like I'm wearing nothing. I need these in every color!
