1992 I bought my first Stegmann original clog and now have purchased my 2nd. Best shoe investment I ever made. My favorite shoes I’ve ever owned!

I’ve waited a few months to write this review because prior to that I had waited a long time to buy these!! I should have done it the second I saw them - they essentially have not left my feet since. They are SO comfortable, reliable and i can wear them with quite literally anything. They have survived (and thrived) through my 3rd trimester pregnant swollen feet (if you know, you know), and every single day post partum too! I have gotten so many compliments and I never hesitate to tell people how amazing they are. If I could have a pair in every single color I would. Don’t wait to buy these - they are simply wonderful and make me smile every time I get to slip them on!

I’m a lifetime fan.

In the late 90’s my friends were asking for some fashion boots for Christmas and I asked my mother for a pair of wool clogs from LL Bean. She thought I was crazy but bought them for me. I wore them for 20 years and literally wore straight through the wool bottoms into the cork. They were so old, I had no idea what brand they were but went on a mission to hunt down another pair. I finally deduced they were Steggman and was delighted to have a new pair. After a mishap with a my new puppy, I decided I never wanted to be without clogs again. They are so comfortable, by far my most worn shoes. If I ever have expendable income, I’d buy another pair in a heartbeat. I wear the skimmers to work frequently and never come home without someone having complimented them.

I finally convinced myself to splurge on a pair of these for my birthday and am so glad I did! I bought them as house shoes but will most definitely have to buy another pair to wear out of the house - so many colors to choose from. These are the most expensive 'house slippers' I've had but am enjoying every minute in them, and every day I look forward to slipping into them as soon as I get home. I researched and read tons of reviews and fully expect these to last a long time. I am picky about shoes and don't usually wear any without socks but boy these are so completely perfect against my skin right out of the box; it is now fall in New England and never before have I been able to wear house shoes without socks (too cold), but these are absolutely soft on my toes, heels, arches and soles, without socks, and very warm yet breathable. I have the feeling that I have just started a lifelong relationship with Stegmanns.

Ordered my first pair after seeing them on a friend who could not tell me enough how great they were. Easy ordering and received quickly. Great communication. Unfortunately first pair (my normal size) were just a tad bit short so easily exchanged for a half size up and they fit perfect. I hate socks and these are super cozy yet aren’t making my feet hot. The arch is very comfortable as well. Very happy with my introduction to Stegmanns!

Comfy right out of the box!

I have very wide feet, and these fit great. They mold to your feet without being flimsy. The footbeds offer a comfortable amount of support (I prefer flip-flops, but my podiatrist is making me get some arch support, which I usually hate). Extremely comfortable. My only complaint, and it is not worth taking away a star, is that the Heather color isn’t as light and warm as the product photos. It’s a little darker and more gray/dingy. I love these, and they feel like they will hold up. I bought them for indoor use, and I will be buying another pair for outdoors.
