I should have listened to other reviews which mentioned that these ran short, which they certainly do.

Too bad, because they're really cute! It's kind of surprising that Stegman would make this kind of mistake since they've been creating cork footbed shoes for so long. I have a pair of Stegman clogs which fit perfectly.

My First Stegamn’s

These are my first Stegman’s and hopefully not my last pair! They are very well made and very attractive. I ordered up to size 10 because I usually wear size 9.5. I am surprised that they ‘just’ fit. Looks like I could actually use a size 10.5 which is not offered. I think that a size 11 would have been too big. Anyway, I look forward to ‘breaking in’ the pair that I have hoping that they turn out to be a perfect fit. I bought a sandal with an adjustable strap because my feet are narrow.

I have an issue with one of my feet, which is larger than the other due to an accident. Internal structures were torn inside this foot and never repaired. Initially, this shoe rubbed on this area. I wasn't sure I wouldn't have to return it. However, I adjusted the strap to be larger on the shoe for that foot, and this made all of the difference. Have been wearing these a lot and think they are pretty.

Love these, Sandals. Very Comfortable.

I love these sandals and I have always loved the Stegman Clogs. They seemed a little tight at first and thought I was going to have to break them in for a trip. Then realized I had not loosened to the longest hole. Thought they would be too loose but discovered a sandal I could just walk into comfortably. Also thought they were a little short but once I tightened, my foot fell into place. I have a high arch and the Stegmans are one of the only shoes that really hug the arch comfortably. Highly recommend these shoes.

I was really concerned about how to correctly size this item based on the information available on the site. I typically wear a US 6 or 6.5 and have low volume feet with a narrow heel. I own two pairs of clogs from Stegmann and a pair of flats as well, all in size 36 which is the same as my other European brand shoes. I ultimately nervously ordered a 38 in these, and really wish I had gone with a 36 or at least 37. The 38 is predictably too long, and I have to tighten the strap to the third (final) hole to keep them from sliding around. I would have exchanged, but need these for a trip and didn't have enough time. They are quite comfortable and after spending a little bit of time massaging the leather strap they are soft and don't have any rub points. I think they will work just fine, but really wish I hadn't sized up so much.

Love the sandals…… but look

Love the Stegmann sandals, but the could use a bit more adjustability. One foot is fine, but the other foot could be tighter. I’m sure this is a common issue and not just me.

Hurts top of feet

I wanted to love these, I really like the look of the leather. But they hurt the top of my feet and I can only walk slowly in them. I regret that it’s too late to return them.

Turns Out, It IS Easy Being Green!

I ordered these sandals because of the color...I'm keeping them because they feel like an open version of my long-time favorite clogs. They are true to size and are perfectly comfortable despite my bunions and typical geezer foot problems. I'm thrilled with this purchase.

This sandal is very cute (as pictured) but the sole seemed a bit flatter than the wedge style that feels best for me. Also I worried about rubbing on one foot. My feet are very sensitive so I returned them because I didn’t want to take a chance.

I'm glad I took the advice to size up in the sandal - because my size 8.5 feet and short toes are right at both ends. If I was a true 9 I think I'd need to go up a 10! I usually size down in Birkenstock to a 39 or sometimes even a 38W, but I did not need to do that here! The 40 fit just perfect for me.
The support is very nice and cushy indeed. No rubbing and zero issues with break-in! I walked a couple miles on my first outing in these (so bad, I know!) and my feet felt amazing. I see more colors of this sandal in my future!
