Gifts for Her, Him & Them
The wool clogs below are available in both men's and women's sizes, and women's widths in many cases. Gifts for just guys and gals are further down this page.
This very popular style comes in 4 wool colors for women, and 3 for men - the color names tell us where the wool comes from. All of the wool is sourced from small farms and collectives. Stonesheep comes from the Steinschaf (Stonesheep in Austrian) native to the Tyrolian mountains, the home of Stegmann.
Shetland wool (pictured) comes from the Shetland islands in Scotland. Juraschaf, also known as the Swiss mountain sheep, comes from the Swiss alps, just down the road. Alpaca wool comes from Peru; it's one of the only lanolin free wools available, which makes it safe for people with sensitive skin or lanolin allergies.
What do you get when you take a classic, and put a modern twist on it? You get the Essenz! This clog has the same fit and build as our popular Original 108, but we left off the traditional Stegmann ribbon. We love the raw edge finishing on the Essenz for it’s simplicity and minimalist aesthetic. This clog can be easily dressed up or dressed down and it goes with practically any outfit.
If you aren’t a huge fan of the traditional look, or aren’t sure your gift recipient will be into it, go for the Essenz. We made it in our most popular colors. so you can't pick wrong. It’s the best of all worlds and is a super comfortable, warm and convenient shoe they will cherish and wear every day.
Original 108 Clogs
This clog is named the Original 108 because it’s the original clog that put Stegmann on the map, and 108 because it took us that many tries to make it perfect! We can confidently say that perfection has been attained, because this is our all-time best selling shoe for both men and women. It’s available in our ‘Euro’ (unisex/wide) width for men and women, with a slimmer, medium width available for women.
It comes in a variety of colors, all with a soft, merino wool upper and cork support sole. Clog fans buy this classic year after year for its excellent support and cozy wool comfort. If you’re unsure about giving a clog as a gift, you really can’t go wrong with the Original 108.
Available in the same fits as the Original 108, with widths available for women. The WoolFlex is identical to the Original 108 up top, with the only difference being the outsole. We developed a molded polyurethane sole that is just a little bit softer and more cushy than our classic cork sole. Plus you get the added benefit of weather proof rubber.
Many of our customers tell us that their podiatrist recommended the WoolFlex clog for their foot pain, be it plantar fasciitis, neuropathy, bunions, arch problems or heel spurs. If you’re buying for someone with ‘problem feet,’ the WoolFlex is a shoe-in ; )
When we say that the Edelweiss clog is “back by popular demand” we really do mean that. The Edelweiss ribbon was offered in one color back in the 90’s, it was discontinued after several years and people have been asking for it ever since. This clog had become such a cult favorite that we were a little bit shocked by the requests. Not a month went by that we didn’t get an email asking us to bring back Edelweiss. So of course, we did just that! But there’s more! We brought it back in a bigger and better way than before. It’s now available in medium and wide widths, as well as cork and poly soles.
If you have ever owned a Stegmann clog and fallen in love, you will be able to find the same fit and feel in the Edelweiss. Boasting the same quality construction and materials as our classic favorites, the Edelweiss fits and feels just like the Original 108 and WoolFlex clogs. What makes the Edelweiss so special is the embroidered band displaying the Edelweiss flower. This small white flower is native to alpine regions in Austria, Switzerland and Germany. The flower is well known locally and is soft and velvety to the touch. You might also recognize it as being the title to a now famous song written for the movie, the Sound of Music.
Socks are optional here at Stegmann. If your gift recipient doesn’t like wearing socks, have we got the clogs for him! Obviously you could gift him any of our wool clogs which are made to be worn barefoot. OR you could give him a practical, durable, great looking leather slip-on clog that has WOOL LINING! That’s right. We lined our men’s leather clogs in wool felt, so that wearing these barefoot is just as comfy as wearing them with socks. We made sure these clogs had good arch support and a traction outsole for long days outdoors and on his feet.
One recent reviewer gifted her husband the Halstatt and this is what she told us:
"He loved them! This man is so hard to please. I’m so tired of seeing him clomping around in the same old broken down, sad loafers, I took a chance and purchased the leather clogs. Low & behold, he loved them. I’m as pleased as he is!" 😁
Women’s dress shoes are a lot of things - polished, professional, a necessary evil : ) What you don’t expect from dress shoes are arch support, soft wool lining and attention to comfort. Given that most women like to wear their dress up shoes without socks - we tried to make that experience as comfortable as possible by adding wool. On the inside of all our womens shoes (and boots for that matter) you will find a soft, real wool lining. This sweet little detail gives you reduced friction, blister resistance, added insulation and all the wonderful wicking properties of natural wool.
We also made sure that the wool-lined insoles are removable so you can customize your fit and support even further if you’d like.
A little fit tip for our Liesls and Mary-Janes: The all wool versions run a little bit wider and looser than the leather versions, they’re also a bit softer and can accommodate a slightly wider foot, but don’t forget, they’re still a medium width and won’t fit a true wide.
You can stop looking for the perfect boots, because these are it. Seriously. They’re wool lined, have amazing support and are super cute! Whether you gift these to a lucky lady or to yourself, you really can’t go wrong between the Chukka and the Chelsea boots. What’s so great about these boots? Well there’s a few things that make them really special. They’re fully lined in real wool felt, so they’re super comfortable to wear with or without socks.
They also have a very generous toe box. Most boots squeeze your toes and can feel too snug in the forefoot when you’re wearing thick socks. Not these! They’re designed to let your feet spread and flex naturally inside the boot. The cork/latex sole is fully sustainable, helps with shock absorption and will mold to your foot over time. Both styles are perfect for travel and will go well with a wide range of outfits.
