I already owned wool Stegmann clogs, so knew these would probably be awesome. I ordered these in ecru and black, and got them in a size 8 (my wool clogs are 7.5). They fit perfectly, and are comfortable with or without socks. I love that you can flip the strap around for different looks! The leather feels soft but holds up - I accidentally splashed sugar water all over one of these while refilling a hummingbird feeder and freaked out that they would spot…but they dried and looked just like new (no spotting)! Nice arch support, and the wool insoles are cushy. These also don’t cause me to roll my ankles like my Danskos sometimes do. I have narrow heels and a normal width forefoot. I have room all around my foot when I have the shoe on, but not so much room that they slip around or slide off easily. They feel like they were custom made for my feet! They look cute with everything…literally. I currently have them on with yoga pants (LOL), and can see wearing them year round with various outfits. I’m now planning said various outfits…I’m so glad I got these in multiple colors!
These shoes were so comfortable right out of the box. The wide toe box was a must for my painful feet. I would highly recommend them.
Love my Stegman's!! I think I proudly own about 6 different kinds. Well made and holds up to rain as well. Thank you for making such a wonderful shoe that fits, feel's great, and can be worn all day and all night. Oh and cleans up easily too. I bought the tan color which is perfect for Spring and Summer. I haven't had to exchange or return any that I've bought, either. One more thing, I can wear them with the back strap up or down, both ways stay on and very comfortable!
