These are beautiful shoes, but note that they are not adjustable. I am sporting red scars along the upper inside edge of my feet after wearing them on a walk around Savannah a month ago. I wore them quite comfortably during a day of school before my misadventure, so I felt that they must be broken in. I will likely chose a shoe that is adjustable for traverses that keep me on my feet for long distances in the future. I will save my Romy slides for casual evening outings or places where I sit as much as stand.
They're really cute and well constructed, but I was hoping the fit out of the box would be better. I have high arches and a medium -wide width that makes these tight across the top of my foot. The heel already slips a bit though, so if I size up they'd definitely be too long. I'm hoping they'll break in and be more comfortable. I have bone spurs and plantar fascitis, was trying to find a shoe that helps. Not sure these are it.
My original order for these Louisa sandals was a 7.5, but it was way too long on me. Returned for size 7’s that for perfectly out of the box. Extremely comfortable and I’ve gotten quite a few compliments and inquiries on them. Thinking about another color now.
This is my first Stegmannn order and I must say they are wonderful! They hug my feet, and are so comfortable. I like to wear them to the office since they are open for summer but don’t scream beachwear. The heel height is perfect and the pitch makes it easy to keep on my feet when walking. I wish the tan was in stock. I would say they are true to size, I am normally a 9 with average width with bunions.
Beautiful well-made shoe. Fits true to sizing. Looking forward to wearing them…dress them up or down. It’s a pleasure to find a ‘real’ leather shoe that does not look like a sneaker!
These are great slides. I wore them straight out of the box with no issues. Very comfortable. I wear 8.5 or 9 mostly and the 40s were perfect for me.
love the slides. the fit is perfect (I size up 1/2 a size). I chose olive and it is just what the picture shows. I will order the tan ones also

Well made comfortable sandle that didn't require much breaking in. As the product listing indicted these are on the small side so size up 1/2 size. I followed that recommendation and they fit great! Great addition to my sandal collection.
I love the shade of blue and the cheerful floral band! Have been wearing them for a few weeks, and my feet feel supported the many hours I wear them in the house. They were comfortable right out of the box. Highly recommend!
The moment I tried these on I was in love with them! They fit perfectly and are very comfortable and the color is a lovely plum color! The first time I wore them was to my Grandson's High School graduation and my feet didn't hurt the whole evening! I will definitely be purchasing more Stegmanns!
I have issues with my feet. I have orthotics in my other shoes, and I purchased these for a wedding. Yesterday was the first day I actually wore them, and they were so comfortable that I know that I will be purchasing another pair. Stylish and comfortable- all in the same shoe. Amazing!
I ordered these slippers one half size small to wear with thin socks or no socks and are happy with the fit. I had Haflinger slippers before but they are too wide for my feet. The stegmann’s have a narrower fit, so I am pleased.
This is a very comfortable pair of sandals. I noticed comments online about the shoe running 1/2 size smaller than regular sizing so I purchased 1/2 size larger. So glad I did because it is a perfect fit.
I really wanted to love these shoes because I think they are adorable. But they were far too roomy for my feet and I could just walk out of them. I tried all types of inserts to make the shoes fit, but failed, and ended up selling them to a friend with the same size but heftier feet.
I loved these right out of the box however they seem a bit short in length even though I "rounded up" to next bigger size. The straps also seem a bit loose. I have tightened them one notch and will need to tight en to the next notch. I am hoping the tighter strap will help keep my toes from catching on the front edge.
Purchased these in lieu of Birkenstock sandals. So far, so good. Was concerned about width and toe "box", but that's not been a problem. Purchased a size larger than I usually get. Have only had them a short time, but if they hold up well, I'll buy them again.
These are the most comfortable slippers ever! They are like a hug for my feet. I lived in Haflingers for years then switched to Glerups for less structure but now Stegmans are my new favorites!
