The Women’s WoolFlex clog is one of our most popular styles. Stegmann wool clogs are hand-felted on a shoe last using traditional and proprietary felting methods to produce a smooth and seamless one piece upper. Each color contains a secret “recipe” or blend of boiled wool to get the perfect color depth. These include fine merino wools and sustainably sourced, local wools from Austria and Europe. This is a classic, easy wearing clog that can be dressed up or down. Our WoolFlex outsole is our softest and most cushioning sole option.

  • Runs large, size down 1/2 to one full size. Check Size Guide
  • The wearer will enjoy a seamless, non-rubbing, non-irritating shoe, as well as an extended lifespan as there are no internal seams that can come apart
  • 1” heel rise & ¾ inch toe platform – gentle slope aids in reducing ankle and back pain
  • Wool felt is naturally climate controlling for warmth in winter and cool, wicking action in summer.
  • Generous toe box can accommodate a wider foot and prevents discomfort
  • Anatomically shaped cushioning built into both the sole and the wool for superior arch, metatarsal and toe support – orthopedic level comfort for ladies who like a little extra support
  • WoolFlex soles are made of polyurethane and are stain, water and abrasion resistant -they are one of the highest rated sole materials for longevity, and can be recycled at the end of their useful life
  • 1” heel rise & ¾ inch toe platform – minimal slope prevents ankle pressure and back pain

Very Nice, Will Take Some Time to Get Used to

I tried many different "house shoes" and none were very comfortable. Had to return them all. Then I found these and I like them a lot. They are a bit harder than I expected (not as much cushioning as I would like). However, I think it's a matter of getting used to them. There is a lot of support which is great. Sometimes I slip my feet into them and they feel very comfy and sometimes I slip my feet into them and they feel hard. So that's why I say it will take time to get used to them. Nonetheless, I like them a lot - they are far superior to any of the others I bought and returned. My legs don't feel as tired either. So, I would definitely recommend them but gave only 4 starts because they aren't as comfortable as I had hoped.

I LOVE them SO much!

I wear a women's size 11 in a "regular" type of shoe. In all the years past I've bought the Stegmann's men's clog because the women's clogs were too small. This year, when I had to replace my Stegmann cork-soled clog (I've always bought the cork-sole), I saw the admonition that Stegmann had made some sizing changes and to order accordingly. I read the sizing information instructions and did order accordingly. So.... drum roll... THIS year, for the first time ever, I bought a women's size 11, with a non-cork sole (it's very wet where I live, and those cork soles always took a beating). I was sceptical and thought they probably wouldn't fit well, but THEY FIT GREAT! I LOVE THEM. The composite sole is just as comfortable as the cork sole. Just like my old clogs, I wear them every day - for everything. Dog walking in the cold, slippers in the evening. I wear them with Darn Tough wool socks if my feet need to be a little warmer, and thin wool socks when it's 60 outside. In the summer I'll wear them with no socks. Each pair I've had in the past lasts about 4 years, and I pretty much wear them every day. That's roughly 1460 days of wear, or 8 cents per day. Thanks for continuing to make a great product. I'll keep buying them. (PS - I really would love a pair in red, but there's no size 11! Please make a pair just for me!).

My first pair of Stegmann's

I really wanted the leather sports clog but they did not fit (please consider doing half sizes on those) and ended up purchasing this pair. These arrived and they are perfect (I did go down a half size as recommended). I can add socks if needed but living in Florida it would be rare to do so. I'm using as indoor slippers and love them.

The ONLY winter shoes I wear!

Much of the year I can wear sandals. However, during winter months and in the rain, the ONLY shoes I wear are these clogs. The black wool is darker than the picture which pairs well with almost everything! Love them and I'm actually thinking about branching out to another color.

My first pair of Stegmann's...

Very happy with them so I'm already planning my next purchase. Size guide was very helpful and accurate, very good arch support and very comfortable.

I had my doubts - but not anymore

I have several problems with my feet, including bunions, and I cannot go barefoot. I bought these clogs to use as slippers, but I have worn them outside, too. I ordered one half size down as recommended, but I could have gone a full size down. I wear them with socks and they fit fine. They are SO comfortable. My feet are in heaven. I am also able to stand and do dishes and cook without pain. These clogs are worth every penny and I'll be getting another pair soon.

Size Guide

**Current sizing for wool may be different than in the past, please check for your correct size before ordering**

Stegmann wool felt clogs are felted on a European last, which results in a more generous fit. They will also loosen slightly with long term wear as the felt compresses. The Stegmann clogs of today may be wider than styles you have bought in the past.

Leather Clog Size Recommendations:

Our leather clogs fit true to size and will loosen only slightly with wear. Leather is available in US Whole sizes only. If you are between sizes we recommend sizing up. If you prefer a very snug fit or have a narrow foot you may consider sizing down.

  Old vs New Clog Dimensions:

If you're looking to replace an older pair of Stegmann Clogs with the same size, we've provided all of the sole dimensions for you below. Many of our loyal, long time customers tell us the fit has changed a bit over the years, so we provided these charts so you can be certain you're getting the same size clogs as the old pair you love. Simply measure the widest and longest points on the bottom of the shoe to match with our measurements. As a rule: when in doubt, size down in wool felt, and size up in leather.
