  • Size & Fit Details

The Liesl fits like a traditional women's dress shoe and does not have the same fit profile as our clogs. Order your normal dress shoe size. Some women found the Felt Liesl runs a bit large as it is soft and flexible. It is medium width, but can accommodate a wider foot. We recommend ordering your normal size, or sizing down if between sizes. For wider feet, order your normal size or size up if between sizes. Will loosen slightly with wear.

Love my skimmer! A tad big but nothing a heel pad can’t fix. Definitely put your own insert if you have high arch other than that it’s comfy & well made. I wear size 6 normal width.

    Great Comfort. Great Support.

I really like my new Stegmann Skimmer. The right shoe was a bit tight at first but it appears to be flexing with wear. They are so comfortable and provide great support. It's also a bonus they are so good looking, in addition, to be functional. I will continue to buy.

I am normally a 7.5 - 8 so I sized down to a 7 per other reviewers' recommendations, and they are too short. Even sitting while wearing them where there's no pressure from the foot, my toes hit the front. They felt a bit narrow too but I think that would be more comfortable if I had the size 8. So maybe if you are on the low end of a range (like 7 - 7.5) you can size down, but probably not on the high end (7.5 - 8). My foot is a 7.5 on length, and I only get 8 occasionally to help with my instep, which shouldn't be a concern with this style.
